  • World Cancer Day was established on 4 February 2000 at the World Cancer Summit Against Cancer for the New Millenium, which was held in Paris.
  • February 4 every year to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection and treatment.
  • Cancer is a large group of diseases that can start in almost any organ or tissue of the body when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably, go beyond their usual boundaries to invade adjoining parts of the body and/or spread to other organs. The latter process is called metastasizing and is a major cause of death from cancer. 
  • The 2019-2021 campaign theme is 'I Am and I Will'. The theme seeks to counter the negative attitude and fatalistic belief that nothing can be done about cancer, and instead promotes how our personal actions can be powerful and impactful.
  • World Cancer Day is to used to develop better ideas and plans regarding the Cancer Patient. It is used to properly make the people get a proper stand to eradicate the Cancer in the World.
  • A national cancer control programme (NCCP) is a public health programme designed to reduce the number of cancer cases and deaths and improve quality of life of cancer patients. This is done by implementing systematic, equitable and evidence-based strategies for prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment and palliation using available resources.

Independence day program , 15 th August 2021 @ RMP

       75th Independence day celebration of our college, R.M.P. C.S.I. P.S.K Rajarathnam Memorial College of Education, Sathankulam was held online in google meet due to the COVID- 19 pandemic situation.The program was started by inauguration address by student teacher B.Benoline Chandra, Mathematics and I, myself read the Bible and prayer was conducted for the start of the program. The Welcome address was addressed by student teacher R.Allwin Leo, Mathematics. As the Independence day competitions like speech, poem writing, slogan writing, solo dance, vegetable carving, singing was conducted a week earlier via online. The list of winner and runners was listed. The runner up and winner's program list was played via google meet . A special address was given by our college principal Dr.J.Jebaselvi with an inspiring speech on our independence day. B.Ed classroom teaching during Internship

     B.Ed internship training held for about 16 weeks period, from November 1st , 2021 to February 28,2022.  It was a very nice experience as a student teacher of R.M.P C.S.I. P.S.K. Rajaratnam Memorial college of Education, Sathankulam. The few months of teaching was very enjoyable. I, myself took classes for classes IX and VI standard. As there was a complete lockdown of schools for past 1.5 years, students were eager to learn new concepts. The classes were lively, students asking doubts, seeking help in learning, doing homework regularly,     Here are few photos of my class at St. John's Girls Higher Secondary School, Nazareth.
